This is a unique one-of-a-kind handmade appliqued jacket

Every piece of this applique is drawn, cut, pieced and assembled by hand

Each applique requires 6-8+ hours to be fully constructed due to the tedious multi-step process of making them by hand.   

These peaces inherently carries a sense of individuality and craftsmanship that observers can appreciate and while wearing them you become the narrator of the story and meaning behind them. Creating a common ground for fly conversation.

Background: Rock n Roll, Vietnam and acid. This jacket captures a time period that changed the DNA of the culture forever. Since a kid I've always been a Jimi fan. In the Highlands neighborhood in Louisville, KY there's a well-known vinyl store my grandparents would take me to. I'd buy cd's & shirts there and this poster would always be on display under blacklight. It was pure eye candy to watch it glow so I made this jacket with neon fabric to replicate that same effect when exposed to blacklight.
